A Discovery of Witches had three seasons, but fans want to see more

We won’t see the end of Diana Bishop’s struggle! Teresa Palmer has revealed to Digital Spy that she is willing to revive the role of the witch historian in A Discovery of Witches.

The show is based on the trilogy of books by Deborah Harkness and tells the story of a young witch, who doesn’t know how to use her powers but manages to summon a powerful book. Now she attracts the attention of all supernatural creatures, including vampire Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode).

In the third season, the couple returns to the present after hiding in Elizabethan England, trying to understand more about the manuscript and Diana’s magic. But they receive sad news on their return to the 21st century.

“I was going to be the first on board. But I also feel that it’s come to such a beautiful end, and that chapter seems closed,” she said. “But, you know, I’m very open.”

“I carry Diana and Matthew’s story with me all the time. I always know someone who loved the series, and the story deeply impacted them,” she added.

Palmer could even play a role in a possible spin-off. “I thought I was ready to finish her story because I couldn’t think of what else needed to be explored. I’m open if someone comes up to us and says, ‘That’s crazy. Can you believe it? We’ll do it again.

Season 1

It adapts the first book in the Harkness saga, which bears the same name as the series.

The news spreads and everyone – witches, vampires, and demons – starts chasing Diana in search of the manuscript. Vampire Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode) discovers that Diana has the manuscript he has been searching for and goes to confront her, but ends up falling in love with her.

The witch and the vampire become ever closer, and the number of enemies who also want the book only increases.
