Episodes will be shown in three parts on Netflix

The long-awaited final battle is about to take place in season 6 of Cobra Kai, and we finally have all the information you need!

The plot picks up after the protagonists have been eliminated from the Valley tournament when our senseis and students face a difficult decision: whether or not to compete in the Sekai Taikai, the prestigious world karate championship. With unprecedented challenges and stakes higher than ever, the plot promises to be an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish.

The final confrontation of the dojos will be divided into three parts, with 15 episodes in total, guaranteeing a satisfactory plot development.

Cobra Kai cast

There has been no news about the departures from Cobra Kai Season 6, so most, if not all, of the main cast are expected to return, especially William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence and Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso.

Martin Kove will be back, as his character, John Kreese, escaped from prison last season and promises to make life more difficult for Johnny, who is preparing to become a father for the first time. It has also been announced that an original character from Karate Kid will take part: C.S. Lee will play Master Kim Sun-Yung.

Cobra Kai Season 6 (Part 1)

The series picks up the protagonists’ story after the end of the tournament in the valley and the fall of Silver. Johnny, Daniel, and Chozen face a new villain, who ends up in jail, while Kreese escapes from prison and returns to cause more trouble.

The season opens with Johnny and Daniel dealing with the administration of Miyagi-Do, each with their distinct training style, which maintains the ironic and disputatious tone between the two characters. It’s important to note that, this season, there’s an extra atmosphere of peace between the characters, giving the series a more novel tone.

We finally see Johnny maturing, becoming a father for the second time, while there is an atmosphere of reconciliation between Rob and Miguel. However, peace in Cobra Kai is always temporary, especially with the arrival of the World Karate Tournament, the Sekai Takai, which promises to turn the characters’ lives upside down.

Miguel struggles to get into college and needs the World Tournament to secure his place. Robby sees the tournament as a chance for redemption, and both will fight hard for first place. Samantha and Tori also continue their rivalry, despite their peace agreement.

One of the highlights of the episodes is the revelation that Mr. Miyagi is not exactly the person Daniel LaRusso always imagined. Daniel discovers a big secret in the dojo, a box with memories that hint at Miyagi’s complex past, including involvement in a bloody crime and participation in the world karate tournament.

The series often shows characters changing sides, and Tory deciding to fight for the enemy side again surprises everyone. Kreese, now with the support of Master Kim, is more thirsty for revenge than ever. The question that remains is whether he will show compassion for Johnny, whom he considers a son, or whether he will become the great villain of the series.
